Donate to the CJL
Thank you for choosing to support the Cornell Center for Jewish Living!
As a Center for Jewish Living supporter, you make an important investment in the next generation of Jewish Leaders. The CJL's unique position as the only building designated solely for Jewish Life at Cornell bears the responsibility to uphold and enhance sustained Jewish life on campus. You are also supporting the only completely student run Jewish community center.
With your help the CJL can proudly provide an atmosphere for Jewish Observance and ensure a sustained, vibrant Kosher Dining program at Cornell. We are committed to offering the best programs and services to foster student growth and leadership in areas of Jewish learning, Jewish community, and Jewish social life.
Again, thank you for helping the CJL to make the Cornell Jewish community a fantastic place to be Jewish and meet other Jews. We couldn't do it without you!
You can designate your gift to be for a specific use in key areas, or determine the general direction your support will be channeled by choosing your method of giving. Fundamental projects include:

The purpose of the CJL Endowment Fund is to strengthen and expand upon the success of the CJL's current missions. Specifically, in these three regards:
- A new office of Resident Rabbinic Scholar will be created to continue providing the kosher certification of foods at 104 West!, satellite dining stations on campus and at wider University functions, e.g. homecoming, reunions and conferences; for the rabbi and his wife to continue offering learning programs to students on a group and individual basis; and to access endowment funds to bring to the CJL top Torah luminaries in Jewish Studies for several intensive days of study each semester to augment the Resident Rabbinic Scholar's educational mission.
- To ensure both the fiscal and physical integrity of the multi-million dollar CJL facility, an advisor will report directly to the President of the Cornell Jewish Life Fund, providing guidance and making recommendations in these two important areas.
- The maintenance of the highest quality kosher dining in the country without adding surcharges to participating students. The endowment fund, if necessary, will contribute to the overall Cornell Dining Program to ensure the excellence of the kosher dining experience throughout the Cornell campus
Donating is easy! To make this secure online donation through the general Cornell University giving page please visit https://www.alumni.cornell.edu/secure/giving/online_giving.cfm Just designate your gift by writing in "Cornell Jewish Life Fund" in the "other gift designation" field!

CJL Direct
Giving to the CJL is the most direct way of sending a donation. This is ideal for smaller donations so the money can be put to used where it is most needed immediately; the current operating budget. The major advantage of this is that it is being sent DIRECTLY to the student board. You can also request that such funds be put toward a special program or other request.
