Housing options for Incoming Freshmen
Incoming freshmen are strongly discouraged from living in the House. As part of Cornell's North Campus Initiative, all freshmen live together in dormitories on North Campus. Living in dorms filled with fellow freshmen is a great way to become integrated into the Cornell community and to meet people from all walks of life. The North Campus dorms are a 12-18 minute walk from the CJL complex.
Worried about keeping Kosher on North Campus? Don't be! As part of the Initiative, Cornell provides hot Kosher meals at Appel/North Star Dining daily for lunch and dinner! This is all part of why Cornell has the best Kosher Dining program in America!
