The CJL is open to all prospective students who wish to come and learn about Cornell.  To help Jewish students get an idea of Cornell's Jewish community, the CJL hosts high school students for Shabbats as well as any other time. The CJL welcomes students and friends from other colleges for fun getaway weekends in Cornell. These Shabbats are filled with amazing food, ruach, and most importantly friends. Everyone that comes up to visit is considered to be part of the CJL family. Therefore, the students make sure that everyone has a fun and enjoyable stay. Alumni are very dear to the Jewish community here at Cornell. Therefore, the CJL strives to create a family-like connection for students whether they currently attend Cornell or have graduated. Alumni are considered family, as a result, they are always more than welcome to come up and visit whenever they wish.
